P-Card Holder Courses

You must complete all 6 courses.

 

Course 1: P-Card Fundamentals
P-Card Fundamentals an overview of the P-Card Program; P-Card usage; reconciliation procedures; card activation and card renewal; how to make changes to your P-Card profile; and procedures for noncompliance or misuse of the card.

 

Course 2: Using the P-Card for General Supply Items
Course 2 reviews key policies and procedures for purchasing on behalf of the University. Topics include fiscal stewardship; spending and signature authority; legal issues involved in the procurement process; choosing the appropriate buying method; purchasing requirements when using sponsored funds; what can and cannot be purchased with the P-Card; and receipt of goods and reconciliation of transactions.

 

Course 3: Using the P-Card for Travel
Course 3 reviews the University and P-Card policies and guidelines when using the P-Card for travel.

 

Course 4: Using the P-Card for Business Hosting
Course 4 reviews the University and P-Card policies and guidelines when using the P-Card for business hosting.

 

Course 5: Using the P-Card for Subject Fee Payments
Course 5 reviews the policies and procedures for using the P-Card to pay research subjects through ATM cash withdrawals or gift certificates.

 

Course 6: ATM Cash Withdrawals
Course 6 reviews the policies and procedures for using the P-Card for ATM cash withdrawals and reimbursement for out of pocket expenses when on travel status.
